As a servant of Jesus Christ, my priorities of faith, family, and community are unwavering. My wife, Jean and I have been married for 30 years. She is a master naturalist, wildlife rehabilitator, and we’ve co-owned The Bug Guy pest control service since 2012. We have four amazing, independent, and successful adult children and eight grandchildren.

For more than three decades, I’ve faithfully and enthusiastically served my community as a police officer, elected Capital School Board member, and elected Dover City Councilman, where I chaired the Safety, Advisory, and Transportation Committee all four years.

The abilities to GUIDE, TRAIN, DIRECT, MOTIVATE, INSPIRE, and UNITE those around me are the foundation I utilize for effective and sustainable leadership.

I’m a man of structure and discipline who was taught a strong work ethic by my parents. My 85-year-old mother still, gladly, works six days a week, providing in-home care to those who need assistance.

People often say, “knowledge is power”. I believe that knowledge is potential. The power comes in the execution of that knowledge to benefit those we touch!
